StoreDocs collects only what it needs to run your onboarding: account details, the information your clients submit, and the timestamps that mark each step toward completion.

How long we keep it

Onboarding records and audit logs are retained for a period of seven (7) to ten (10) years from the completion of the engagement, consistent with common business and statutory retention practice. After that period they undergo defensible, logged disposition.

Where data lives

Primary operations are conducted from Texas. EU sub-processors are engaged for transactional email and related functions where required by counterparties. Those sub-processors are bound by standard data-processing agreements and are disclosed on request. EU sub-processors on request.

Data breach notification

In the event of a security incident affecting the personal information of Texas residents, StoreDocs will notify affected individuals in accordance with the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act, Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 521.053. Notification will be issued without unreasonable delay and within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the GDPR and CCPA, you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your personal data by writing to support@storedocs.net. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

Consumer protection

Texas residents retain all rights under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act (DTPA), Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 17.41 et seq., and may contact the Office of the Texas Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division.
